We hope that you will join us in supporting the local talent of our NEW Dances 2019 choreographers: Francesca Baron, Jana Bennett, Lauren Blane, LOUD BODIES, Katie Carey, and Rigoberto Saura and company dancers who are performing these original works: Quincie Bean, Tara Charvat, Kristen Donovan, Abby Ellison, Sarah Fluegel, Jade Hooper, Sarah Jones, Cameron Lasater, Racquel Mar, Erin Quigley, Elijah Richardson, Tori Rumzis, Simone Stevens, Jack Taylor, Kallie Tierney, and Imani Williams. NEW Dances 2019 will take place at the Athenaeum Theatre, Black Box Studio 2 with performances the week of June 17.
Your support directly helps the NEW Dances 2019 Choreographers receive the following:
• An unprecedented 25 hours of rehearsal time to develop brand new work
• Theater rental for 4 performances
• Working with production designers from the community
• Marketing and financial support
• Mentoring by renowned leaders in the Chicago dance community
• Paid dancers selected through an audition

All donors of $100 or more are invited to join us as a VIP guest to our Friday, June 21st 7:30 pm performance for a special “Meet the Artists” pre-show cocktail reception starting at 6:00 pm with hors d’oeurves provided by Coda di Volpe and an intermission toasts. Additionally, donors of $500 or more receive special program recognition.
