SAVE the DATE for New Dances 2023: June 22-24 at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, where New Dances made its debut 40 years ago in 1983! Thodos Dance Chicago and DanceWorks Chicago continue in joined forces to present work created and performed by some of Chicago's most talented and gifted dance movers and makers. Follow along throughout the year as we walk down memory honoring New Dances past and celebrating New Dances present!

- SAVE the DATE: Call for proposals for choreography submissions will open on February 15. Proposals must be submitted by March 1 at 12:00 pm CT.

- New Dances 2023 is dedicated to creating a safe space for artists, and in that spirit, fully vaccinated individuals, as defined by the most up-to-date CDC guidelines, are invited to apply. Providing proof of vaccination will be part of the pre-registration process.
- As New Dances is focused on supporting artists who have made a commitment to the Chicago community, please respect the residency requirement: Choreographer must reside in Chicago or a suburb of Chicago as of March 1, 2023.
- Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.
