Assembly Programs

Thodos Dance Chicago celebrated its 25th season in 2017-2018 and announced an organizational change, which transformed the TDC as a touring dance company to a project based dance organization. Under its new mission, TDC is dedicated to is to engage and enrich the community through dance creation, advocacy, education, and mentorship. While TDC no longer offers Assembly Performances, please review our below offerings.

School Residencies

Is your university or high school looking to mount a performance of Thodos Dance Chicago's repertoire? Founder & Artistic Director Melissa Thodos as well as seasoned, accomplished TDC alumni are available to make this a reality! Residencies are custom built and tailored to meet the needs and expectations of the presenting organization. Presenters range from elementary schools to universities, juvenile detention centers to libraries, and more!

Afterschool Programs

We invite your group of dancers to TRAIN, CREATE, and GROW with classes taught by Founder & Artistic Director Melissa Thodos as well as seasoned, accomplished TDC alumni! We can provide a unique experience for your dance artists with an array of offerings including: technique classes in ballet and contemporary/modern, composition and improvisation, acclaimed TDC repertoire, and body, health and wellness.
